Goals for this year
So I've just got employed last week and I was so excited and nervous at the same time. It's a Singapore company and there's an office branch where I live. The night before jumping on the job, I was so excited that I couldn't sleep at all. I kept thinking about how I finally got my very first paid full time position and it was a .NET position, my main thing. But turned out, the company main focus was Ruby and NodeJS. They hired a .NET developer to maintain one of their client's project. And it was written in the old .NET Framework and the code base was very ugly. But that's okay, I guess. I'm still lucky to have a job right in the middle of this COVID crisis. And also in the interview, the directors said that I was gonna need to gain more knowledge, pick up some other languages, which are what I'm trying to achieve right now and even before they hired me. I just hope that after the probation, I'll become their official employee and gain as much knowle
